Video Description

This lesson of chapter 7 is where we tie together how the OSI Model and TCP/IP Suite of protocols correlate. This whiteboard provides an excellent demonstration of how each TCP protocol maps to its counterpart in the OSI layer and also clarifies the specifics with an overview chart of essentials you must know in the OSI Model. For example, the application layer is mapped by its layer number, its key function, the data type at that layer and how they are referred to, what its firewall interface is and other information such as the device interface at that layer, and all is mapped to the TCP/IP Protocol Stack as a quick reference.
