TCP/IP Suite (part 2) This lesson briefly reviews the OSI Model which has the following layers: - Physical - Datalink - Network - Transport - Session - Presentation - Application The lesson goes on to discuss how the seven layers of the OSI model relate to the TCP/IP suite. One of the protocols in this suite is Address Resolution Protocol (ARP), which allows computers on a network to determine other computers physical addresses, MAC addresses and correlate with their IP addresses and is located in the datalink layer of the OSI model.
