Sfc Lab In our previous lesson you learned about Checkdisk, a hard disk drive repair and integrity checking tool.  Similar to Checkdisk function is SFC which stands for System File Checker. SFC is a systems integrity and repair tool.  It allows users to scan for corrupt Windows Systems files and it has the ability to restore them to a health state. In this lesson you’ll observe a demonstration on how the SFC utility works and the various troubleshooting features it uses to find Windows OS system file issues that prevent the Windows from working properly. For example, SFC not only files and attempts to restore corrupt files, but it can identify missing system files and attempt to restore it to its proper location.
