Physical Security: RFID Badges, Key Fobs, and RSA Tokens In this lesson we discuss more deeply the use of the RFID badges and other electronically formatted tools including key fobs and RSA tokens.  In addition to physical and biometric security methods, electronically formatted devices provide an additional level of security for access in to specific locations for which few people are granted special access. For example, RFID badges contain chips used encryption/decryption a private key as its authentication method.  We explains how it works, how it authenticates, what that process typically look like, and how that process can be compromised. You’ll learn how key fobs work, how they are programmed, what resources they can access, what key features they possess, as well as how RSA Tokens work, how they are similar to key fobs, what the display reveals and how its random number algorithm configuration works.
