Performance Monitor

Performance Monitor Our next Windows Administrative Tool we explore is the Performance Monitor.  This tool can be accessed directly and is can be used to directly monitor network connections, power, user activity, and much more – there are literally an endless number of variables that can be accessed and monitored thru the Performance Monitor. This lesson demonstrates how to access the computer components within the Performance Monitor available for assessment then demonstrates how to read and interpret the display output for several of them. You’ll learn what a counter is, what information you can learn from them, how much information is revealed thru them and what that info tells you about the computing system it’s monitoring.
