Description
NTFS Files and Folders In this lesson, we examine what happens to files and folders when they are relocated to another partition on the network. You’ll learn what happens if a file or folder is moved from one file system type to another.  We’ll diagram and explain what happens when a file/folder is copied vs. when it’s moved, and what level of permissions takes priority and how inheritance works. In explaining Propagation, you’ll learn the difference between a parent and child folder and why knowing permissions of the destination folder impacts the files/folders contained within.
