Multiple Displays, Analog vs Digital

Description
Now that we’ve covered all the various types of display devices, we need to tie in other functions and attributes of display monitors. First is “multiple displays” which can be supported on various types of motherboards and more importantly, that the video card is set up to support more than one monitor. We’ll explore the concepts behind special software that allows for a single image to be displayed across myriad number of monitors, or how a wall paneled with nothing but monitors can be used to create one single conjoined image. We’ll demonstrate to contrast the difference between duplicate and extended and when you would want to change their orientation. We discuss Analog connectors and how VGA’s gradual signal flow transmits then contrast to Digital and contrast it to DVI or HDMI and how the On or Off transmission works.
