Managing and Troubleshooting DNS

Managing and Troubleshooting DNS

This lesson covers DNS records and testing and looking at the DNS zone in the Adatum.com environment. Participants learn about how to change properties in Adatum. Participants learn how to adjust the minimum (default) TTL and about aging and scavenging properties using refresh intervals and setting scavenging and aging parameters. In the DNS, it is also important to be able to test the DNS to make sure it is working and this is done via the default environment using the nslookup –d2 Lon-DC1.Adatum.com command.
