This lesson focuses on the netstat command. The netstat command is used to print network connections, routing tables, interface statistics, masquerade connections and multicast memberships. This command has many options and all of them are useful, especially in a Linux-based environment. Participants learn about Netstat –g, -r , -i , -s (IP, ICMP, TCP, UDP) as well as Arp outputs.
