Hello and welcome back to I seen Do you want interconnecting Cisco networking devices? Part one,
This is Module one. Fund network Fundamentals lesson 1.1. Introduction the TCP and I'd be networking
wannabe trend era when the instructor for this course.
All right, So listen, overview first. Really. Just be going over the TCP I p model A little bit of a history of it, and briefly kind of how it works.
Next, we're gonna go over all the TCP i p layers to include the application layer that transport layer network layer than Internet layer physical
really go over all those layers. What different protocols were used and kind of how the packets and frames and bits, Al it all works together.
Then lastly, we're gonna be quickly going over the OS. I model in a kind of how it compares to this TCP at I p model.
So it's a quick reassessments into this lesson here. Which of these protocols in the TCP I p layer or application layer?
If you want to give you a few seconds to go out and positive video, think about it for a second. If you need to, you can try and do some research. Figure out what it is.
Okay, Hopefully you figured it out. Otherwise
we'll be looking at http and tell nuts,
Look at the chart. Also, the right kind of gives you a good idea. So the application layer ones that cover
a vast amount of protocols.
But the other ones, you know, like transport just covering TCP. And you knew P
The Internet layer is gonna be the I pee in our pool
is going to be your address resolution protocol.
I see appear your ping,
the PPP is the point of point protocol.
So the next question is pre assessment. What is the missing layer in the OS? I model there
again. Go ahead and posit video trying to research it. This one shouldn't hope we take you too long. Quick. Google Search. Locate it for you.
Otherwise, if you want translated gas if you remember,
Okay. Hopefully you got that one as well.
We're looking at the data link layer.
Let me look at your physical addressing layer your frames.
Last pre assessment question for the intro lesson
Which Os i layer defines these standards for the physical cabling of the network. That could be layer 1234
or 56 and seven.
That's gonna be layer one physical layer.
So the next episode we're gonna be going over the TCP I P model there is that you see in the
just gonna cover the four layers of that.
And once again, if you guys have any questions that you need help,
you are. If you just have some funny photos, go ahead and send me a message.
Thank you for washing this lesson that look forward to having you in the next episode.
