Installing & Configuring Operating Systems (part 2)

Installing and Configuring Operating Systems (part 2) Our next lesson on Installing and Configuring Operating Systems explores the different ways in which we can perform an installation. For example, one way to perform an installation is to create a master image as an installation package, then apply that image to a target destination.  In this example you’ll learn what an image is, observe the process of creating an image, and the various ways in which that image can then be applied.  And you’ll learn how and when image installation are used and how to configure and successfully deploy image installations. Upon completion of this lesson, you’ll be able to select from several installation types, you’ll know how to configure and deploy all of them and you’ll be able to determine based on the need and configuration of the destination environment, which installation type is the most appropriate to use.
