Video Description

When CISSPs talk defense, they are not referring to the best way to defend or the best tool to use. Instead it's a practical discussion about layered defense. This section of Information Security Governance & Risk Management discusses the type of and strategies for the layered defense of your company or clients assets. We'll also discuss why it's critical to recognize 'there is no one device to prevent an attacker and on one way to prevent intrusion attacks." You'll learn in details what layered defense means and explore examples of three main types of layered defense: technical, administrative and physical. You'll also learn how layered defense strategies can be deployed, where the shortfalls can occur, and how some layered defense practices can be combined between technical, administrative and/or physical.
