Flat Panel Monitor (LCD – Liquid Crystal Display)

FacebookTwitterGoogle+LinkedInEmail
Description

LCD or “flat screen” monitors are a display device that use less power, generate less heat, take up less space, creates less glare, and is even safer than CRT because they do not give off Radiation.

LCD devices actually don’t use electron beams to produce their display, they use an active field that move liquid crystals.  We’ll demonstrate how this process works, explain each of its components and what their functions are, and explain what an electrical matrix is and how it contributes to the display of an LCD monitor.
