BNC (Bayonet Neill-Concelman) connections are commonly used in more industrial environments. RJ45 connectors are used when you need to extend a video from several different devices. BNC is used for security purposes such as security screens or camera's and prevents sliding on the Coax cable. The HDMI connector is digital, video and audio connector which comes in 4 types and we'll diagram each and explain pin configuration and where they are used. HDMI delivers high resolution and high quality resolution which varies based upon the device it's deployed to support. And finally we discuss RJ45 with an examination of its port assignment, how it transmits data, and the implication of distance on its implementation.

one of our next type of connectors that will see and is in our analog realm is going to be a B and C connector ar BNC connector look similar to this one with are locking bolt on the end and are being C connectors are commonly used for
screens. Such a security screens connecting to our security cameras. These BNC connectors they simply connect up using a slot and lock in providing a secure connection and keeping from having sliding out issues such as with this audio cable slides out very easily. But this being C connector
holds it on quite tightly. Now are BNC connector is on the end of a co axial cable and that co axial cable is simply just a single cable, which has been braided shield around it with foil shield around it that are all stripped away to expose the single, typically copper core.
And then that copper core axes the contact,
and then we have our BNC connector around it. And again, these BNC connectors are typically used for screens such a CZ security screens or cameras more often, and for their how well their connections stays together and how hard it is for them to just slip off if someone you know,
bumps it or if something happens in the space where it's installed.
So we set the way a little bit from our digital connectors, but we're gonna come back around now to them, and we're gonna talk about R H D M I connector now HCM I connector, which we don't have here is an A C. My connector is a digital video and audio connector,
so it's not on Lee Video going through in HD my connector.
It's also audio in conjunction with It are HCM. My cable comes in a few different types. We have type A through tight D R Type A is going to be our typical full size HD my connector 19 pens, and we'll see it most often on the side of our laptops on the side of her plasma televisions and it's

Most common with a 10 80 p resolution are Type B is going to be a slightly smaller connector. Type B is going to be a 29 pin connector, and with this connector, we're actually going to have a 38 40 by 2400 resolution. This 38 40 2400 resolution is obviously a higher resolution,

10. 80 p. And it's the highest resolution of all of our HT. My connectors. Now Type C connector is a bit smaller. It's known as a mini HD. My connector. It's our 19 pin, just like our type A, except smaller. It also gives us the same resolution that Taipei does will have our many
d. M I. And then our tight D connector is going to be 19 pens as well.
And this one is going to be known as our micro H d M I. R micro HTM I. We see nowadays sometimes on cell phones, small pocket projectors and weaken. It's about the size of, ah micro USB cable, and you can just plug it right into the phone and plug it into ah projection source and actually display
from videos or
screens from the phone onto the projection source or onto the screen.
C and D And they are old 19 pens and they all display at that same resolution of 10. 80 p. Again, the bee is going to be 29 pins. It's gonna be 38 40 about 2400.
And will you always want to remember that H. D M. I is going to be video and audio? This makes it very useful and multimedia presentations, multi meat or home theater situations. Because you're only using one cable for that video and that audio. You don't have to have multiple cables. You don't have to have, ah, lot of extra cable management.

single cable and everything's all set and everything's done. One of our more unconventional means of transferring display images is going to be R. J. 45 R J 45 is also known as an Ethernet cable, and this is the cable that you're most likely to see plugged into your computer for Internet or network connectivity. It's an eight pin
connector, and again it's most often used for network connect
activity or our Internet connection. R R J 45 connection is actually a possibility for us to use if we want to transmit images over Ethernet cable. We actually have Ethernet to V G, a converters that allow us to
taken image from V G a format,
convert the image onto an Ethernet cable and actually send the images Ah, lot farther than we would just with the standard V G a cable without the signal degradation. Ethernet Cable R J 45 cables are made to go a bit longer than then v g. A. Cables are without that, actually, without the signal degradation without having to
use a booster of some sort,
and we're able to convert that image. So we have our R J 45 on and Hate Pin. We have our computer with R V G. A Port HD 15 d 15 and we come out with R V G eight cable, and we go to a converter that converts R V g et tu r
Use that Ethernet cable to transfer it over a longer distance,
converted back from Ethernet to V G A and then display it on our monitor or plasma screen. We can see how it may be a little bit more unconventional than just using a straight V g a cable, but it can come in handy, and it can be useful in situations where we're trying to get that a long distance and we really are running out of options, so
we just go with our
converted from v g et tu r j 45 use that RG 45 to get the image where it needs to go.
