This lab introduces you to Sleuthkit and Autopsy.  Sleuthkit kit is a collection of forensic analysis tools used to analyzing and examining computer file systems such as FAT, NTFS, etc.  Autopsy is the browser interface used in conjunction with Sleuthkit

The lab demonstrates the 2 part installation and/confirmation that the most current version if it’s already installed on the system your working from.  Once Sleuthkit is installed, you’ll learn how to launch Autopsy and access the resources it provides such as where your online evidence locker stores your working files, host and proxy information and other components you’ll need to know and be aware of as you navigate and conduct your forensic analysis.
