Description
Copy Commands Lab Now that we’ve learned how to locate, manage files and perform those types of duties, we look at the process of copying/replicating files. This lesson explores and demonstrates the use of the copy & Xcopy commands which are fairly similar, and another copy feature, RoboCopy which is substantially different in terms of syntax. You’ll learn the value of correct syntax, and we’ll examine when to utilize a specific copy function and what variables would help you determine that.  For example, there are often pauses in network traffic that may impact the copy process.  You’ll learn which copy type is most appropriate for executing the copy function across the network successfully regardless of pause that may occur.
