you will learn why you need to trust center and how a trust center can be seen or used as a competitive advantage.
So you've implemented all these new programs, gained industry and regulatory certifications. But do your customers know how you're protecting their data?
Are you being transparent with how you use their data?
The US Does your sales team know what security certification and practices are in place most of the time? The answer. That last question is no. Especially if you're a new C so or you're standing up a formalized security program in a company that didn't have what?
So one thing that I've ah learned from my tenure is equipping the sales team with
these. This information
one shortens their sale cycle to it can reduce the friction during the sale cycle, and it empowers and equips them. So they have, ah, understanding of what
has been implemented in the organization. So that helps them navigate those prospecting calls and customer calls in a more effective and efficient manner. There's a quote from Mary Kay Prep that I like this says trust is becoming a differentiator in the marketplace
and sees those who seek a more strategic row
must engage the full range of stakeholders to build the confidence that their organization has their best interests in mind.
So what is the trust center?
Your customers will ask how you're protecting their data. So you may as well highlight all of the things that you are doing and make it public.
The private privacy and security teams will send questionnaires to be filled out, and these will be inbound. Question there is coming from your customers that will also ask, Hey, how you protecting our data? Are you isil 27,001 certified. Are you sought to type to complying? Um,
can we see your C ai que from the cloud
security allows the C s a star? What frameworks are you currently using? So a trust center is a way for you to publicly highlight what you're doing and central location for your customers to go and read about and to see and or download.

or just in general to reference the things that you are doing to help protect not Onley their interests, but yours as well. So what you will see on the screen right now is, um
something that I did in my 10 years at psychotic was we created, ah, webpage back how to trust center. But what it did was was ah, concise location for us to highlight how we're protecting our customers data.
it also reduced the amount of inbound question there's that we would get
to ask if we were isil 27,001 or if we were socked too tight to a common criteria or they could view our privacy shield information. So not only did we,
um, extradite sales cycles, we also made the compliance team more productive by reducing the amount of security questionnaires that they had to respond to. So, as you can see, this is another way
that the security team can protect and generate revenue in the way of productivity gains.
