Hello and welcome back to I, C and D one interconnecting Cisco Networking devices. Part one,
this is Lesson 2.2. Introduction Analyzing Ethernet switching.
I'm trend Daron. I'm gonna be your instructor for this course.
Miss lesson on recovering the logic tests, which is used afford frames a little bit about the Mac address table and other switch learns the Mac address from the host devices were going to get some useful commands.
So let's an overview. And the first episode we're gonna look at the switching logic and concepts of how the switch determines where to actually send each frame.
The second lesson, we're gonna look at the Mac learning and how the frames were flooded.
And in the last lesson, we're gonna take a
good look at the Mac address table, do a live demo. We're looking a lot of commands in that one.
So pre assessment here will hit some of these questions before we get into the actual course.
What is this switch used to forge a frame and think about it for a second? What? What's information is in a frame,
and what would the switch need to you? See if you can figure this one out without googling it here.
All right, if you guess the destination Mac address, you would be correct.
All right, what is one way a switch will
All right. It is the spanning tree protocol. We're gonna go briefly over in this lesson, but we're in. I C NDY, too. Will hit it a lot harder there.
And the last pre assessment question. What is the command to view the Mac address table entries.
This one? You may have seen me use a little bit in the previous videos. Hope you know
otherwise. See if you can figure it out.
Right. It is the show. Mac. Address, Dash, table command.
All right. In this next episode, we're gonna jump right in with switching logic and concepts.
And as always, if you guys have questions, need some help,
you know, just want to say hi. Shoot me a message
and I'll be glad to answer questions. Thank you for watching this course introduction. Look forward to teaching the firm in your lost one. Thinking
