Non-repudiation is a security technique used to confirm the data delivery. It offers acknowledgement to the sender of data and verifies the sender’s identity to the recipient so neither can refute the data at a future juncture.

Non-repudiation is processed through digital signatures, and affirms the information being sent has been electronically signed by the purported person (receiver).
