Interconnection Security Agreement (ISA)

An Interconnection Security Agreement (ISA) is a contractual agreement between the organizations that own and run linked IT systems to keep record of the technical requirements of the interconnection. The ISA keeps both partnering organizations in syn with one another’s technical requirements and helps to define liability in negligence. The ISA also supports a Memorandum of Understanding or Agreement (MOU/A) between the organizations.
