This Weeks S3SS10N Wednesday

This lesson covers decimal to binary to hexadecimal conversion. This knowledge is very handy to know prior to going into something such as sub netting. Hexadecimal conversion is also a good skill to have as IP6 is becoming more common. This session offers participants step by step instructions in how to use numbers to convert them into bytes of data. To convert a decimal number into binary, we look to see how the numbers fit together (will 128 fit into 211?). The number 211 in decimal is expressed as 11.01.00.11. Essentially, you are looking to see if a value will fit inside a decimal number. To take binary to hexadecimal is relatively simple via running it through binary.
