preservation of evidence vs. contamination of evidence

identification of evidence; preservation<-chain of custody of the evidence through the entire lifecycle; extraction+interpretation; documentation and presentation in the court room. 

1. Crime has happend and somene has ID as a crime.

2. Warrant; first responder goes to the scene and seize the evidence

3. Tranposrt; bit-by-bit copies; 

evidence: whole; admissible is can be admitted to court; accurate: is it relevant to the case and trustworthy; authentic: true evidence, original evidence; acceptable: needs to prove our findings in front of the jury/judge.
