    A badge allows you to show of the skills that you have earned over your time spent on Cybrary. They will appear on your profile and most of them are an image that represents the course that you have successfully completed.

    From a professional standpoint, the certificate of completion is more valuable in that it documents the given course/curriculum, and the CPE value attributed therein can be used for ongoing education requirements for various certifications (e.g., CISA, CISSP, etc.). The badges appear to be more of an intrinsic-value collectible.
