What are the characteristics of Security Software?

do anyone know how ssl sockets work? I have installed certificates, but the app return an excepction such:Unable to find valid certification path to request targeted. 🙁

Well, it depends on the application used. For servers like IIS, your certificates are loaded into the windows certificate store, typically under Local Machine\My, which is the personal cert store for the local machine. For things like Apache Tomcat, theres usually a certs folder where the web server is located, and thats where youd put in a keystore, like a .jks file or whatever, and then in your config file, you would reference that certificate using a relative path, like ../cert/MyCertificate.jks
