    Hi,

I’m trying to set up the environment on the video. However, I cannot get iso image of Windows7 and before, so I cannot run the required environment the video shows.

While I can run Windows 8.x on VMware, is this disqualified for malware analysis? If so, why?

And Do you know why is it that many sites recommend old Windows on vm for malware analysys? What is difference between run newer Windows(like 10) and older one on vm when one tries malware analysis? Why there is no opinion that analyze on older versions gives us only out-of-date experience?
