I just began the Malware analysis course! I’ve been looking for a course like this for a very long time, and am really grateful Cybrary has made it available.

Wanted to post a link to this TechEd video featuring Mark Russinovich, one of the creators of the Sysinternals Suite of tools now owned by Microsoft (along with his former partner Bryce Cogswell). Russinovich and Cogswell had a company called Winternals which Microsoft acquired in 2006. Cogswell went off on his own and Russinovich has been an engineer for Microsoft ever since.

The instructor mentions Sysinternals as one of the suites of tools he uses for malware analysis. In this video, Mark Russinovich demonstrates how Sysinternals can be used to identify and analyze malware and aid in its removal. Highly recommended!
