    Hey all
I’m going though Network Fundamentals micro course. Broadcasting confused me in some manner. Lecturer says routers don’t forward broadcast traffic. Does that mean, if 3 computers are connected to a router, and 1 computer sends a broadcast package, the other 2 computers in the same network won’t get them? Or am I missing totally fundamental here?

In fact Router do not forward broadcast OUTSIDE of the local network.
In you example the two other computer will get the braodcast package but the router won’t try to forward the package to another network.
I hope it clears your understanding.

    Best regards
