    Hello Cybrarians,

According to you and your experience, what are the best programming languages for cyber security? What languages would you recommand : low-level languages like C or C++, or high-level languages like Python or JavaScript? And what would you use them for?

My favorites : C++ and Python.

    Happy hacking!

My favorites are the same as yours. Whenever I have more specific instructions low level in c++ works. But when the solution is not that much to spend or waste time I prefer Python that time.

But for web languages I do prefer Jade sometimes for HTML, I always prefer SASS for CSS instead of writing plain CSS by self. Trust me and try to write in SASS (not SCSS or CSS), once you get familiar you will never use CSS again (except emergency situation where your SASS is not installed).

Never tried transpiler for JavaScript like trueScript or many others. I anyone does please tell me which one and will it be better or not even for making a simple programs.

I also want to know the opinions of other and try that what they are doing with the varieties of programming languages.

Knowing network basics and programming in python and C++ would do the trick.
