Our Programmatic Approach to Partner Ecosystem Growth

POSTED BY HAIG COLTER

Earlier this week CRN released its 2018 Partner Program Guide – a “go to” list of partner programs from technology vendors that provide products and services through the IT channel. We’re proud that the ThreatQuotient Threat Alliance Program is featured in this roundup with a detailed listing.

We launched our Threat Alliance Program just last year and have gained significant traction already with a network of recognized and trusted resellers. As we execute on our strategy to be a 100% channel company, we’ve continued to expand our multi-tiered program with enhanced agreements and training, doubling the number of channel partners outside of the United States.

But our alliance ecosystem includes more than our top-notch reseller partners. It also includes the industry’s best technology partners from around the world. The power of the ThreatQ platform lies in its open, extensible architecture, allowing for strong integration and interoperability with the tools organizations use today and the tools they may be considering across a broad spectrum of services.

Our partner integration program leverages the ThreatQ Open Exchange through a software development kit (SDK), easy -to-use application programming interfaces (APIs) and a comprehensive set of industry-standard interfaces to fully integrate with the equipment, tools, technologies, teams and processes customers rely on to protect their environment.

The ease and value of integration has allowed us to double the number of new partners in our technical alliance ecosystem last year, bringing the portfolio to over 200 feed and product integrations. Not only can customers aggregate the multiple threat feeds they subscribe to, they can enrich that external data with data from internal systems to help analyze, contextualize and prioritize it for action. With bi-directional integration they can also send curated threat intelligence from ThreatQ to all the tools necessary within the environment. For example, to the existing case management or SIEM solution to allow these technologies to perform more efficiently and effectively to deliver fewer false positives, and to Sensor Grid (firewalls, anti-virus, IPS/IDS, web and email security, endpoint detection and response, NetFlow, etc.) to generate and apply updated policies and rules to be anticipatory and prevent attacks in the future.

Expansion of our partner ecosystem is continuing into 2018. In February we announced a milestone partnership with NTT Security to deliver enhanced threat intelligence capabilities to their worldwide managed security clients. Our programmatic, collaborative and partner-friendly approach is allowing us to join forces with the best in the industry to enable more clients to realize the benefits and potential of threat intelligence to accelerate security operations.
