Understand the Scenario
You are a network and security administrator. You need to perform open-source intelligence (OSINT)-gathering operations. First, you will perform Google dorking, and then you will gather OSINT by using netcraft.com. Next, you will perform a background search on a person, and then you will gather OSINT by using the recon-ng tool. Finally, you will perform OSINT gathering by using the OSRFramework, and then you will explore the OSINT Framework.
Understand Your Environment
You will be using a Windows® 10 virtual machine named WIN 10-CL-1 and a Kali Linux™ virtual machine named Kali Linux 2021.
