- Exercise 1 - Creating and Formatting Shapes
- Exercise 2 - Working with Images
You should be able to:
- Draw a shape
- Modify a shape
- Layer shapes on your slides
- Insert images
- Resize and crop images
- Add effects and styles to images

It will take approximately 30 minutes to complete this lab.
Exercise 1 - Creating and Formatting Shapes
In PowerPoint, you can create shapes that provide visual impact and can help convey information. There are many tools for drawing and working with basic shapes, and you can change shapes, move them, resize them, and even layer them as you wish.
In this exercise, you'll create and work with shapes.
Exercise 2 - Working with Images
Images can be a great way to enhance and clarify your presentations. An image can be a photograph or other graphic represented as a digital file, including scanned art.
There are two main types of image files that can be used in PowerPoint: bitmap images and vector graphics.
In this exercise, you'll insert, adjust, and work with images.
