Work with XML Data

Introduction

The Work with XML Data module provides you with the instruction and server hardware to develop your hands on skills in the defined topics. This module includes the following exercises:

1. Create XML Schema Collection
2. Import and Export XML Data
3. Transform and Modify XML Data

Exercise 1- Create XML Schema Collection

In this exercise, you will learn the following in Microsoft SQL Server 2012 R2:

• Create XML schema collections and store XML Data in a database

Exercise 2 – Import and Export XML Data

In this exercise, you will import xml data into a SQL table and then export XML data from a SQL table into an XML file.

Exercise 3 – Transform and Modify XML Data

In this exercise, you will write query to transform the XML data as relational data and modify XML data.
