Exercise 1 - Working with Windows ICD
The Windows Imaging and Configuration Designer (ICD) is a tool that streamlines the customizing and provisioning of a Windows image. Windows ICD can be used for performing several tasks. The tasks are as follows:
Creating Windows provisioning answer files Building and flashing a Windows image Adding third-party apps, assets, and drivers to an answer file Viewing the configurable settings and policies for a Windows 10 image or provisioning package Creating variants and specifying the settings that apply to each variant Building a provisioning package In this exercise, you will learn to install and run Windows ICD and use Windows ICD to build and deploy an image in Windows 10 for desktop editions (Home, Pro, and Enterprise).
Exercise 2 - Managing Licensing and Activation Status of Windows 10
Windows activation status determines the authenticity of the operating system’s license. The activation process tells you whether the Windows operating system is used according to the Microsoft Software License Terms and Conditions.
