Exercise 1 - Configure IP Routing
Routing is the process of transferring data through an internetwork from a source computer to a destination computer. Routing is typically done by a network device called routers that use routing table information to decide which network route to take when it receives a data packet from a host.
In this exercise, you will configure LAN routing using Microsoft Routing and Remote Access service (RRAS). Windows Server 2012 R2 like the earlier versions has a PC-based routing solution that can be used by small organizations as an interim routing infrastructure for their network.
