Overview

Introduction

The Managing Files with OneDrive module provides you with the instruction and server hardware to develop your hands on skills in the defined topics. This module includes the following exercises:

  • Managing Documents Storage with OneDrive
  • Sharing Folders with OneDrive

Exercise 1 - Managing Document Storage with OneDrive

Microsoft OneDrive provides a free cloud-based storage for user files. Files on OneDrive can be accessed from any device that’s connected to the Internet. Users with accounts in Hotmail.com or Outlook.com are allocated at least free 15 GB storage (as of this writing). Your storage account can be upgraded to higher capacity on a paid subscription basis.

In this exercise, you will manage files on OneDrive.

Exercise 2 - Sharing Folders with OneDrive

You can use OneDrive to share your folders and files with other users. This gives you the convenience of sharing large files with colleagues without sending them as an attachment through e-mail.
