The libraries feature in Windows makes it easier for users to organize files and folders. Libraries provide a virtual repository to manage user files that are located in different folders in a Windows computer or in remote storage location such as shared folders. Libraries are based on the legacy folders namely My Documents, My Pictures and My Music that were used in earlier Windows. These folders are automatically included in the default libraries and are used as default save location.
Libraries to make it easier to organize frequently used folders in addition to the available default folders when libraries are enabled.
