Exercise 1 - Manual Installation of Windows 7
Operating systems (OS) like Windows and Linux is an essential software component of your computer system. The OS manages hardware, software and provides a common platform for applications installed on a computer.
In this exercise, you will perform a fresh installation of the Microsoft Windows 7 operating system on new a computer.
You will use a virtual machine (VM) which is self-contained computer that utilize the system resources of a physical computer that runs computer virtualization software like Hyper-V. Using a VM gives you the ability to perform the installation from start-up phase to the graphical-based installation of the operating system.
