Exercise 1 - Managing Mail-Enabled Objects
There are various types of mailboxes such as user, room, and equipment in Exchange Server. The creation and configuration of these types of mailboxes in the Exchange Admin Center (EAC) and by using cmdlets in the Exchange Management Shell (EMS) is an important task for you as an administrator.
An Active Directory user account is usually necessary to create a user mailbox. However, it is possible to create an Active Directory user account after creating the user mailbox.
In this exercise, you will learn how to manage the mail-enabled objects by performing the following tasks:
- Task 1 - Create users in Active Directory
- Task 2 - Create user mailboxes
- Task 3 - Configure user mailboxes
- Task 4 - Create room mailboxes
- Task 5 - Configure room mailboxes
- Task 6 - Create equipment mailboxes
- Task 7 - Configure equipment mailboxes

- Create and configure mail-enabled objects in Exchange Server 2016.
