Exercise 1 - Using VMware Converter
Using VMware Converter, you can convert a physical machine to a virtual machine. There are a number of tasks that you can perform with VMware Converter.
- Convert physical servers to virtual machines (P2V) - Either VMware Infrastructure or VMware Workstation systems
- Convert virtual machines to virtual machines (V2V)
- Configure virtual machines
- Import various types of image formats and convert them into virtual machines
