Exercise 1 - Configure Shared Resources
In this exercise, you will perform the tasks required to configure access to shared resources such as file shares in Windows 7.
Exercise 2 - Configure File and Folder Access
In this exercise, you will perform task to configure file permissions and encryption in Windows 7.
Exercise 3 - Configuring User Account Control
User Account Control (UAC) prevents unauthorised users from making changes in the system settings of your computer. The UAC will ask for administrator credentials whenever a regular user attempts to perform tasks that call for administrative rights.
Exercise 4 - Configure BranchCache
BranchCache in Microsoft Windows 7 can be used by organisations that operate from more than one office locations. It is a file caching service which can automatically retrieve and distribute the local file copies between Windows 7 clients or between Windows Server 2008 and Windows 7 computers.
