Exercise 1 - Working with Address Books
You must be familiar with the term address book in your daily life. You may be maintaining a notebook or a diary where you keep a record of the official or residential addresses of your acquaintances or contacts. The personal address book helps you to easily and quickly locate the contact’s address. Similar to your personal address books, you can create address books at an organizational level using Exchange Online, the hosted version of Exchange Server. Exchange Online is a part of the Office 365 suite. Exchange admin center is the main page to manage the Exchange Online services.
The core components associated with the email addresses and address books in Exchange Online are Global Address Lists (GALs), address lists, Offline Address Books (OABs), Hierarchical Address Books (HABs), and Address Book Policies (ABPs).
In this exercise, you will learn how to work with these core components by performing the following tasks:
- Task 1 - Create and manage Global Address Lists (GALs).
