Exercise 1 - Manage Offline Files and Sync Center
Windows offline files is a file synchronization feature that gives mobile workforce seamless connectivity to work files when connected to the corporate network or when working on the road while on a business trip. Instead of using dialing up to VPN server or saving files in public cloud storage, you can use offline files feature built into Windows.
To optimize offline files, it is recommended that only work-related files be saved in company-owned file servers and not terabytes of music or videos because offline files feature is not intended for storing massive amounts of data.
In this exercise, you will learn how to set up offline features on a shared folder hosted on a server and how to access it offline from a client workstation.
Exercise 2 - Enable Remote Desktop
Remote Desktop enables you to take remote control over another Windows networked PC. Remote Desktop is composed of a Remote Desktop Server -a feature in Windows Server is a service that accepts connections from other PCs in the network. Remote Desktop client - a feature in Windows clients use an application such as mstsc.exe or Remote Desktop Connection to connect to a networked Windows device (either Server or Client) that has Remote Desktop setting enabled.
In this exercise, you will learn how to configure the remote desktop connection on Windows 10 computer.
