Exercise 1 - Getting the Environment Ready for Active Directory Rights Management Services

Confidential corporate data is at possible risk when it is passed between users in an organization and sent to external contacts over the Internet. To deal with these challenges, companies can implement data security tools that will allow them to enforce access control and ensure that only authorised users or business partners can access classified information.

Windows Server 2012 like its earlier versions has bundled Active Directory Rights Management Service-- that can encrypt information and enforce granular access control mechanism that decides how it will release that information to a requesting user.

Exercise 2 - Install and Configure Pre-requisites and AD RMS

With AD Domain Services providing the infrastructure for AD RMS, the following exercise will take you through the steps to install the role.

Exercise 3 - Setup AD RMS Templates

Once you have successfully installed AD RMS you can now configure the role. In the following exercise you will configure templates for AD RMS.

Exercise 4 - Create an Exclusion and Trust Policy
