Overview

This advanced challenge is suited for students who are comfortable working with Ubuntu in the terminal. Some background of routing configuration is helpful. The lab has a 45 minute time limit, which should be sufficient even if you have to look up a few things. Unlike guided challenges with specific hints, advanced challenged offer hints that link to documentation or similar resources. This is great practice working through a task using your knowledge, research skills, and related documentation. Completing the lab will help students develop skill in establishing routing schema, which is important for the Network Operations Specialist work role. You will also develop knowledge of internet and routing protocols and networking and internet communications fundamentals. These are important for the Exploitation Analyst and Multi-Disciplined Language Analyst work roles. This lab is beneficial to students on the Network Operations Specialist career path.
