Top security veterans join in Cybrary’s mission to provide accessible cybersecurity and IT career development opportunities to anyone, anywhere
Cybrary, the world’s largest, online cybersecurity career development platform, today announced the addition of four top security experts to its Advisory Board. These members will deliver strategic counsel and technical guidance to Cybrary, based on their in-depth industry expertise.
The quartet collectively brings diverse knowledge and skill sets with backgrounds in executive leadership, academia, research, information security, artificial intelligence (AI), industrial control systems (ICS) security, cybersecurity risk management, cloud security and more. The four new Board members include:
- Dr. Edward G. Amoroso, CEO of TAG Cyber: Dr. Amoroso leads a global cybersecurity advisory, training, consulting, and media services company that supports major organizations across the world. His vast experience with cybersecurity companies and professionals will provide Cybrary with critical insights around how to further innovate training courses to bridge the cyber talent gap.
- Vishal Gupta, Global CTO and Senior Vice President, Technology at Unisys: Leading a global technology and solutions organization across six global centers and over 1500 technology associates, Gupta’s experience with cybersecurity products and solutions provides unmatched counsel for the innovation and development of Cybrary’s current and future services.
- Chris Hodson, CISO at Tanium: With his background in information security, data privacy and risk management, Hodson’s expertise will help to guide Cybrary’s training programs and instructors to better prepare cybersecurity professionals for the reality of the industry. He is also the author of "Cyber Risk Management: Prioritise Threats, Identify Vulnerabilities and Apply Controls."
- Chris Kubecka, Founder and CEO of HypaSec: Kubecka leads an organization offering nation-state incident management, training in IT, IoT, ICS SCADA, and expert advisory services to governments. She brings the deep-rooted knowledge and experience to help Cybrary advance its training program to build the next generation of talent.
