Data is a piece of information which is very important and useful for a user. With your personal data like bank details, contacts, messages and Professional data like confidential documents, presentations, emails accounts or server organizations.Data could also be traveling through wired or wireless networks. At all locations, your data is always at risk from intentional and unintentional breaches. And remember, deleted data can always be recovered. Your data on social websites is always one of the most significant targets of the attackers. Data belonging to your organization can be targeted by your competitors. Unexpectedly, Data errors may occur by technical device failures. We definitely need to maintain the security of the data. Now, I will give you some pointers on how you can implement different ways to protect your data.First of all, secure the local disk data. The important data must be protected by disk encryption technologies like PGP Desktop and Bit Locker. Use Backup utilities to prevent data loss. Use disk wiping utilities for permanent deletion of files. I strongly suggest that you use an anti-virus software to prevent data from modification without your access. I also recommend that you use 360 Total Security for Windows (https://www.360totalsecurity.com). Next, secure the Online Information. Ensure Web browsers are using HTTPS instead of HTTP. Prevent websites from using your personal information like Real Name, Address, Phone Number or any other sensitive information you want to be selective about being seen. And beware of online scams and social engineering. Then, secure the data of your organization.Don't use company related information anywhere. Avoid using unknown laptop computers for your work. Use secure email programs for your email accounts. Here, I suggest using ProtonMail (https://protonmail.com). ProtonMail is the world's largest secure email service, developed by CERN and MIT scientists. It is open source and protected by Swiss privacy law. Strict policies should be applied for data confidentiality and availability and update your computer servers regularly. That's it!If you want more, you can watch my video on Data Security:Join my academy or watch my video:For more info visit my Official Website#thegeeqThanks for Reading!
