Today’s Question: What was Heartbleed?

A widespread vulnerability discovered in April 2014 that put user passwords (and other sensitive information) on popular websites at risk of being stolen. The bug, in OpenSSL encryption software, allowed hackers to repeatedly access a Web server’s memory.
