Hello Cybrarians. What’s up?

In this article, I will tell you about a tool that can be used for cracking login usernames and passwords. This tool is an excellent bruteforcer, named Medusa.

It is comes preinstalled on Kali Linux, so there is no need for you to search for it or install it. Simply open up the terminal and type: medusa or man medusa

The main line for cracking the login usernames and passwords is: medusa -h host_name -U users.txt -P pass.txt -M ftp/telnet/http

h/H is for host/hostsname(file)

u/U  user/users name(file)

p/P  password/passwords (file)

M is module being used. you can dump the modules using the command: medusa -d

I have created a video for the demonstration so that it is easier for you to follow along. Please watch it below and leave comments on this page if you have any questions!
